It is highly recommended to review your Student Center and SF State student email regularly before orientation for any alerts, account holds, and campus updates that may need to be addressed before you arrive for orientation.

Apply for University Housing starting March 1, 2020.

On-campus housing at San Francisco State University is limited and in high demand. While living on campus is not required, it is also not guaranteed and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Housing Office highly recommends students submit their housing application as soon as the housing portal opens in order to increase their chances of obtaining a space and to avoid being put on the wait list.

Because housing is limited, completing the application and submitting the initial fee by March 31 is essential and increases your chances for obtaining housing.
