Veterans Workshop

At orientation there will be workshops held for those interested in knowing about the benefits available to veterans, such as the Cal Vet Fee Waiver, CH 30, 31, 33, 35, 1606, and 1607. The workshops will help you with the application process and how you can use your benefits at SF State.

 

Please bring the following documents with you for the workshop:

Veterans:

  • DD214 (A copy of member 1 or 4.)
  • Certificate of Eligibility (Any copy will do.)
  • VA Form 22-1995 (Have you used any CH benefit at a previous institution?)
  • 1905 (Are you using Vocational Rehabilitation?)

Dependents (of Veterans):

  • Cal Vet Fee Waiver award letter
  • VA Form 22-5495 (Have you used any CH benefit at a previous institution?)
  • Certificate of Eligibility (Any copy will do.)

Workshop Times:

*Half-Day Orientation Sessions*

12:00 – 1:00 p.m. (approximately 45 minutes)

*Full-Day Orientation Sessions*

Group A  2:30 - 3:15 p.m. (approximately 45 minutes)

Group B  1:30 - 2:15 p.m. (approximately 45 minutes)

(Groups are assigned during check-in.)

 

If you have an MMR hold on your record, you can provide a copy of your DD214 to clear this hold.
